YARNS final.png

YARNS is a program and space for underclassmen to pause, reflect and focus on the influences that have shaped their stories and selves, inspired by our commitment to helping students develop both a facility and enthusiasm for the way in which thoughts and beliefs are distinctly captured and communicated through narrative writing.

Personal writing is a critical component of the college process, however one that is best tackled early on and with the clear-cut goals of self-improvement, growth and confidence. We are eager to build these skills in our students as they construct a continuous portfolio of informal prose leading up to junior year.
